*Life of Fred: Calculus Expanded Edition *

$49! You gotta be kidding.

Is* Life of Fred: Calculus* some kind of workbook or a paperback brief overview of the easy parts of freshman calculus?

No. * Life of Fred: Calculus Expanded Edition* is a hardback textbook that covers *all* of freshman and sophomore college calculus.

It is complete.

Look at other textbooks. Do they cover . . .

- First order differential equations? (Six method: variables separable, homogeneous, first order linear, Bernoulli's, exact, and integrating factors)
- Second order differential equations? (Two types)
- Vector calculus including the three major theorem: Green's theorem, Divergence theorem, and Stokes's theorem? (Easy way to check: Look for Green's theorem in their indexes.)

It is motivating.

Every aspect of calculus *first* appears in Fred's life, and only then do we do the math.

It is fun.

Fred is born on the first page of the book. Some read the book just for the story line.

It's cheap.

I could triple the price and still be far under everyone else. Here's some examples from Amazon.com that I recently pulled up. Many of these are *not* complete calculus books. (Do they have Green's theorem, etc.?)

Life of Fred: Calculus is First Edition. It was written right the first time.
